We love pantry dishes such as this. The 1st time we made this dish we were looking for shrimp recipes online because my hubby bought more shrimp than I necessary for a recipe. I absolutely hate reheating shrimp therefore i only cooked what we needed.

How exactly to peel and devein shrimp:

  • To peel raw shrimp, tear away at the shell above the first segment of the shell (the tail segment).
  • Have a paring knife and make a shallow cut along the spine of the shrimp (the trunk of it).
  • Using the paring knife or a fork, gently take away the black strip of intestines.
  • To eliminate tails just squeeze the shrimp right out of the bottom of the tail segment.
